ATLIB Volleyball Northern Competition

Even thought WJC did not participate in this year volleyball competition, we will hope next year we enter our male and female team in the games, so get ready for another domination in that sports. Meanwhile, we will give it up to UB girls and Secrad Heart boys in their win.
In the female championship, the UB girls easily beat the CJC girls 25-10 and 25-16 in game one. In game four, they beat SJC 25-22 and 25-16 and in game six, their last game, they met Ecumenical Junior College (EJC), also undefeated at that point. After the two teams clashed, UB came out victorious, winning the first two sets with scores of 25-21 and 25-14. UB ended the tournament as back to back champs and also with an impressive record of not only three wins zero defeats, but also winning all their sets.
In the male championship, it was sweet revenge for Sacred Heart Junior College (SHJC) who had lost to UB during the southern regional. SHJC defeated the defending champ, UB, in a three set series with scores of 25-18, 15-25 and 16-14. In the last set, the SHJC boys had to make a great comeback from a deficit of six to post their first win of the day. In their second game, SHJC played against the northern champ, St John’s Junior College (SJC) and crushed them in two sets, 25-15 and 25-19. In game six, SHJC’s third and final match, they secured their position by beating MJC, 25-20, 25-22 and crowned themselves as national champions for the first time ever. SJC took the sub-championship after surprisingly defeating UB 25-19, 14-25 and 15-8
