COMMUNITY SERVICE
WJC aims to influence students towards positive Citizenship. A period of Community Service must be done by all students in their second year of the 3 year Associates Program.
- Duration: 15 hours of work in the second semester of year 2
- Students may work in groups or individually
- Students will fill in the form ‘Application to do Community Service’ available from the Counselor’s office
- Students will identify an area of service and get approval from the Dean before commencing any work.
- A portfolio of service done must be presented at the end of the service.
- Students are encouraged to consider doing their community service on the WJC campus in an effort to improve the environment for the WC/WJC community.
