Environmental Science School Trip to Cockscomb Basin

Environmental Science is not a course than can be adequately taught in the classroom. Last semester, students in the second and third year Environmental Science classes, studied about the Sustainable Use of Natural Resources. To better understand this topic, and to enrich their learning, they spent a night in the Cockscomb basin. They were involved in lectures, demonstrations, hiking and tubing. It was a very valuable experience in which students learnt to respect and appreciate some of the Natural Resources found in Belize.
