GRADUATION EXERCISE 2008 Wesley Junior College 3rd Graduation Exercise Ceremony honors the graduates of Class 2008. The Service was held Friday May 16th, 2008 7:00 p.m. at Wesley Methodist Church on Albert Street, Belize City. At the ceremony it featured the procession of graduates and faculty, the keynote address from a prestigious speaker, and the awards of degrees and complimented with the live sound of Wesley College Steel Orchestra.
At that ceremony, the President of WJC Mrs. Brenda Armstrong led procession. The Guest Speaker was Chief Magistrate Mrs. Margaret McKenzie. It was a proud day for parents and loved ones as well. The pomp and ceremony of the march down the isle of the Wesley Methodist Church made every heart beat a little faster
The Deans Remark was given by our Acting Dean, Mrs. Winsome Arana whom gave acknowledgement and courtesies. While Ms. Deneak Arnold gave the Student address, Ms. Stephanie Gillett gave the Introduction of the Guest Speaker and Ms. Cordelia Vernon gave the Courtesies.
The most anticipated moment of the day was when Mrs. Armstrong and Mrs. Mckenzie presented all the Degrees to the Graduates. Each graduate walked across the stage and shook Mrs. Mckenzie's hand as they received their degree.
Its always a happy, yet emotional time for the graduates and their families as they reflect on everything that has contributed to this moment.
Congratulations to the 2008 Wesley Junior College Graduates and best of luck in your future lives and careers. We at WJC are very proud of your accomplishments and look forward to following up on your future successes.
