INFORMATION UPDATE FOR STUDENTS
FIRST SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1. First semester examinations will take place from November 30 to December 3, 2009.
2. All outstanding fees owing for the first semester must be paid before you can sit the first semester examinations. Please do not give me the unpleasant task of having to ask you to leave the examination room.
3. Paper for the examination will be provided by the office.
4. Your final grade will reflect your record of attendance. More than three unexplained absences in any course for the semester will result in a decrease in the grade for that course by 0.5. So a course grade of B would be reduced to C+.
REGISTRATION FOR SEMESTER 2
1. Reports for the first semester will be available from the office from Thursday, December 10, 2009.
2. Registration for the second semester will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday December 15 and 16 from 10.00am until 5.30pm.. NO MONIES WILL BE COLLECTED AT THE OFFICE. Please pay your fees at the bank and present the receipt to the office. A minimum of $400.00 must be paid at the BANK OF NOVA SCOTIA in order for you to register for the second semester. PLEASE DO NOT PAY THIS MONEY AT ATLANTIC BANK OR ANY OTHER BANK. The total tuition and fees for the second semester is $665.00 for the associate degree program and $545.00 for the ACE program.
3. Late registration will incur a fee of $50.00. Please try to avoid this as it adds to the congestion in the office on the first day of school.
4. Classes for the second semester will begin on Tuesday, January 5, at 5.30pm
OFFICE HOURS DURING THE HOLIDAYS
The office will be opened between the hours of 9.30am and 5.30pm from Monday December 7 until Thursday December 17, 2009. However on Monday December 14, the office will be opened from 9.00am until 12.00 noon only.
The office will re-open on Monday January 3 at the normal working hours of 12.30pm until 8.30pm.

PS. ATLIB Basketball competition will take place at SJC gym on Saturday Nov.28. WJC has both a male and female team. Please come out and support them!
