Wesley Junior College First Open Evening 

On April 2, 2009, WJC students presented to the public and fellow students a sample of some of the work that they had been involved in over the last semester. There were presentations from most courses including, Spanish (Spanish restaurant and movies), Marketing, Ancient Civilization, Business Finance and Accounting and Economics. The Caribbean Studies class manned the voting booth as students were also voting for the new student government. The Environmental Science class displayed pictures from their recent field trip to the Cockscomb Basin. The Marketing classes dominated the Open Evening, with various business displays including a bakery, a spa, a coconut haven, and a specialized smoothie shop. You could have also visited ‘Unique Taste’ for a serving of chips and dip. The ACE class presented models of various types of dwellings and calculated your mortgage would be if you decided to purchase one.
